Plato Ireland is a confidential business support network for owner managers of SMEs. It is a full time support service available 9-5 daily.Through a unique partnership with large "parent" companies and enterprise development agencies, Plato provides SMEs with a confidential support service, facilitated group learning, specialist expertise and advice, networking opportunities and business development training. Plato's core principle is simple - remove isolation from the decision making process. Plato is there to support SMEs through its network of voluntary group leaders and parent companies, with the direct assistance of City and County Enterprise Boards and the support of IBEC and Chambers Ireland.

In the current challenging environment Plato is committed to providing a prompt and efficient support/advice service to its clients. Office lines are open 9 - 5 daily (021) 4320466 and on-line at info@plato.ie. Mobile contact out-of-office hours support is provided as required.
Non-Plato clients are invited to enquire about the support services available. Plato is a not-for-profit initiative and open to all sectors of economic activity.
The Plato/Bord Gais Small Business Advice initiative is now available in Cork, Clare, Carlow, Kerry, Kilkenny, Limerick,Tipperary, Waterford and Wexford. This is a completely free service open to owner-managers across all sectors of the economy. The service will commence in Dublin in May 2012. Please visit www.smallbusinessadvice.ie . .
The Small Business Advice programme, a joint initiative of Plato and Bord Gais, was nominated for the Chambers Ireland Presidents Awards for Corporate and Social Responsibility in 2011.
We are currently recruiting and trainig 40 new advisors for the Dublin region. It is envisaged that the initiative will continue to expand into other regions.
To date, over 300 companies have been advised through the initiative. A panel of 85 voluntary advisors are supporting the SBAI in its work.

www.familybusiness.ie is a confidential network dedicated to the wellbeing and support of family business owner-managers, and the development of their businesses.
www.familybusiness.ie is an educational and support service for the founders, owners, next generation managers and professional advisors of family businesses with documentation (ie templates, plans and checklists) available for free download.
